My Institute Webinar On Preparing For The Post Pandemic Opportunities To Become A Winner

My Institute organized a webinar on the Topic “Preparing for the post pandemic opportunities to become A winner” on 28th August 2021 at 11.00 a.m.  The Webinar commenced with opening prayer by Pastor Selvasegar, Board of Director. Mr. B. Ravikumar David, Vice-President gave warm greetings and welcomed the gathering.  The Guest speaker for the day was Dr. Anand Samuel former Vice-Chancellor – VIT.  Mr. J.S. Anbu, Co-ordinator gave a brief introduction and introduced the Guest speaker.  Around 150 students from different colleges participated. Mr. A. Denis Bezanio, Convener proposed the vote of thanks.  The programme was concluded with a prayer and benediction by Mr. R. Richard Ezekiel.  Addl. General Secretary –Finance.

Dedication

The YMCA Madras donated Rs. 15 Lakhs towards the construction of 3 Classrooms/lab for the Indian Missionary Society School at Dornapal, Chattishgar. This school mainly serves the educational needs of the Tribal Children. The dedication was held on 27th September, 2021 in the presence of President Dr.Vincent George and the Board of Directors Mr. P. S. Selwyn Devadoss and Mr. Gideon Thangaraj. The General Secretary of IMS Rev. Kingsly John Stephen dedicated three class rooms for the glory of God. 

Inauguration

Inauguration of two Indoor Badminton courts at YMCA Esplanade-Chennai on 19th October, 2021 at 6.00 P.M. by Hon’ble Justice JB Koshy in the presence of National General Secretary Mr. Bertram Devadass. The Regional Chairman-SIR & the President-YMCA Madras Dr. Vincent George, National Executive Members were also present.

Voluntary Service

On 18.11.2021 night eight of our secretaries were serving as volunteers for the Greater Chennai Corporation at the Ripon building to help the people in distress due to heavy rains. This is done as part of the Disaster Preparedness, Relief & Rehabilitation Committee. This service was done in Coordination with the NDRF.

Dedication

Newly renovated rooms at the Third floor of the International Youth Centre at Vepery was dedicated on 1st December 2021 by Dr. Vincent George, President-YMCA Madras and Regional Chairman-SIR; in the presence of the office bearers and the directors of YMCA Madras.
