INTER BRANCH TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Inter Branch Table Tennis Tournament was conducted on 13th August 2016 at YMCA Esplanade.
CARROM TOURNAMENT
The Annual YMCA Carrom Tournament conducted by YMCA Esplanade was inaugurated on Friday, 11/11/2016 at McConaughy Hall of YMCA Esplanade. There were 62 entries in Men Singles and 12 entries in Women Singles. 8 Carrom Boards were installed and the matches were played on 11/11/2016 and 12/11/2016. Players from leading institutions and clubs like Air India, Chennai Port Trust, India Post, Periamet Carrom Promotion Centre, Grand Slam Carrom Academy, Indian Oil Corporation, AGORC, Lazar MCC, Defence Accounts Recreation Club etc. participated.
CHESS
The chess coaching was good and children showed more interest in learning it.
INTER YMCA SNOOKER TOURNAMENT
Inter YMCA Snooker Tournament was conducted on 3rd November 2016 at YMCA Vepery. Around 30 members participated in this tournament from all branches.
Badminton Tournament was conducted from 8th to 10th September 2016
The Inter Branch Badminton Tournament was conducted from 8th to 10th September 2016 in categories of Men’s Singles, Doubles A, Doubles B, Veterans Doubles and Under 15 singles. Members from different Branches participated and the final was held on 10th September 2016.

CHENNAI DISTRICT TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2017
The YMCA Madras, Physical Activities Committee conducted Chennai District Table Tennis Championship2017 for Cadet and Sub-Junior on 28th – 29th July, 2017 at YMCA Vepery. Around 300 entries were there. The finals and prize distribution function were held on 29th July, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. Mr. Chandrasekar, Arjuna Awardee &Mr.Robin Charles Raja, Superintendent, Chennai Customs & Professional Football Coach, were the Chief Guests and distributed the prizes to the winner, runners-up, semifinalist & quarter finalist
